We hang board knowing exactly who has to finish it — us. That means seams land where they should, sheets run tight, and we do not leave a mess of butt joints in the middle of a feature wall.

Basements, additions, garage conversions, laundry rooms and full renovations across Durham Region.

What's included

  • Sheet layout planned to minimise butt joints

  • Sound-dampening assemblies for basements and home offices

The details

Choosing the right board

Bathrooms and laundry rooms get moisture- or mould-resistant board. Garage ceilings and furnace rooms get fire-rated type X where code requires it. Media rooms and shared walls get a damping compound between two layers.

Basements and moisture

Durham basements move with the seasons. We hold board off the slab, use the right fasteners, and coordinate with your insulation and vapour barrier so nothing gets trapped behind the wall.

Common questions

Do you handle the permit or inspection?

Framing and insulation inspections are usually the general contractor's responsibility, but we schedule our boarding around inspection dates so nothing gets covered too early.

Do you remove the old drywall?

Yes, demolition and disposal can be included in the quote.
